Meals and Fellowship
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”
– Matthew 25:35
One of the important ways we care for one another at times of need – when someone is ill or housebound or after a death or birth – is to bring them a meal or meals. We rely entirely on volunteers to make and deliver meals. It can be as simple as your family meatloaf or a meal gathered from that day’s Farmer’s Market. Please let us know if you can contribute to this effort…whether it’s for one meal or on an ongoing basis.
Our Parishioners need you!
All Souls meals and rides team volunteers provide simple but critical pastoral care to fellow parishioners on a very flexible schedule. A quarterly commitment when and how your schedule allows, providing a meal (homemade or purchased) or transportation for a parishioner during times of trial, hardship, or the first weeks of parenthood. Please contact Alisa Hofmann, the Help Desk in the Parish Hall on Sundays after the 10:00am service, or complete a simple questionnaire to help us fill in the gaps of our loving ministry.
