Job Opening: Director of Youth Ministries
All Souls Episcopal Parish in Berkeley, California, a Christ-centered, vibrant and theologically inclusive congregation, is seeking a Director of Youth Ministries. The number of children at All Souls has more than doubled in the past ten years; we are excited about what might come next. Our youth program currently includes: weekly evening programs, mission trips, an acolyte ministry, service activities, and confirmation courses. We have a team-oriented, experienced staff and supportive and committed lay leadership.
We are looking for an engaged and energetic individual to provide vision and direction in fostering the spiritual development of our young people and in helping them connect with God, each other, and the broader community. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience organizing programs, managing teams of volunteers, partnering with parents, and developing positive relationships with youth. She or he will have a grounded Christian practice and experience in guiding youth into their own authentic practice.
