(Adopted from “Common Prayer: For children and families”)
Start by lighting a candle.
O God, make speed to save us.
O Lord, be swift to help us.
Pause for 10 seconds of holy silence.
Glory to the Holy One: God beyond us, God with us, and God within us,
As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen.
Loving God, we are sorry for the hurtful things we have thought, said, or done,
And for not doing the thing we should have done.
We ask for your forgiveness.
Set us on your way and make us whole. Amen.
Lord of all Gentleness, Lord of all calm,
Whose voice is contentment, whose presence in balm,
Be there at our sleeping and give us we pray,
Your peace in our hearts Lord at the end of the day. (Verse 4)

Reflecting on the Day
Where did you see Jesus today? In family, friends, and neighbors? Pets or nature?
I believe in God above,
I believe in Jesus’s love.
I believe in God’s Spirit too,
Comes to tell me what to do.
I believe that I can be
Kind and good,
Dear Lord, like thee.
The Lord’s Prayer
|Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.
