The Rev. Marguerite Judson

Marguerite (she/hers) was raised in Brooklyn, NY and has been in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1977. She has lived across class and racial lines, and was a successful fundraiser for twenty years before ordination – including twelve years at UC Berkeley supporting the Division of Equity & Inclusion. An alumna of  both Church Divinity School of the Pacific (CAS 2017) and Virginia Theological Seminary (MTS 1977), she also served as a volunteer chaplain at Sojourn Chaplaincy at the San Francisco General Hospital and at Strawberry Creek Lodge in Berkeley, She served her Transitional Diaconate at All Souls and was Interim Sabbatical Associate Rector at ASEP in 2018, focusing on justice and pastoral & elder care. She was the Associate Rector at St. Mary the Virgin  (SF) until the summer of 2021, when health challenges made full-time work impossible.  Marguerite is delighted to return to All Souls as an Assisting Priest, and is available to provide Spiritual Direction / Companionship online. She lives in El Cerrito with “Miss Molly,” her rescue Havanese; voraciously reads theology, mysteries and Sci-Fi; and delights in classical and choral music.
