Matt joined the All Souls Leadership Team in October 2024. He received his Master in Church Music from Concordia University - River Forest, and since then has experience as a performer, conductor, composer and concert presenter in a wide variety of venues including St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Chicago, the Ravenswood Community Orchestra, St. James in the City (Episcopal) in Los Angeles, the San Francisco Opera, and Old First Concerts.  He finds joy in collaboration and loves to find ways for people to share their musical talents in worship (ask him about the accordionist!)  Matt's familiarity with an incredible diversity of music plus an openness to new experiences creates a dynamic music program that welcomes everyone to participate.
